Optometric Assistant

Part-Time Optometric Technician

We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated team member to join our growing optometry practice.

Consistent schedule:

• Mondays & Thursdays
• Weekday hours: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Our practice is staffed by three doctors and is open Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and occasionally Tuesdays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care by greeting patients in a friendly, upbeat manner
• Perform pre-screening procedures for the doctor
• Handle appointment scheduling, reminders, billing follow-up, phone calls, and emails
• Complete opening and closing procedures, ensuring equipment readiness
• Assist with daily sales reporting
• Maintain office cleanliness, organization, and administrative support

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Professional, outgoing, and team-oriented demeanor
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable with technology (computer, iPad; EMR experience preferred)
• Interest in a healthcare career (Pre-Med, Pre-PA, Pre-Optometry, etc. preferred)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
