Optometric Assistant

Advanced Eyecare of Edgewater is looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Optometric Technician to join our team!

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, and understands the importance of teamwork. Our office is a busy, patient-focused environment where everyone works together to keep things running smoothly and provide the best possible care.

What You'll Do

• Prepare patients for eye exams and assist with patient flow
• Perform preliminary testing and diagnostic imaging
• Gather patient histories and accurately document information
• Assist our doctors with clinical testing and patient care
• Learn to operate advanced ophthalmic equipment and technology
• Keep exam rooms and clinical areas organized and ready for patients
• Help with front desk responsibilities and other office tasks when needed
• Work closely with your coworkers to make sure patients have a great experience

• Previous optometric or medical office experience is a plus, but not required

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week

Work Location: In person
