What they need
Overview
As an Optometric Assistant, you’ll help patients move smoothly through checking in for their eye care visits to examination support. You’ll prepare patients, operate equipment.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients, check-in, complete intake, and update medical records in electronic medical records/electronic health records (EMR/EHR) systems.
- Support patient examinations through medical equipment.
- Prepare and operate medical equipment and ophthalmic diagnostic imaging equipment
- Patient service skills and a respectful approach to direct patient care.
- Medical office experience is preferred however training will be provded.
- Ability to learn examination workflows and equipment operation
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
