Optometric Assistant/Front Desk

Private optometry practice seeking a friendly, dependable Front Desk Receptionist / Optometric Technician to join our team. This is a patient-facing position with primary responsibility for front desk operations, along with basic clinical testing.

Responsibilities include:

• Answering phones and assisting patients
• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• Insurance verification and claim submission
• Contact lens ordering and follow-up
• Patient check-in/check-out and general office duties
• Performing basic diagnostic testing, including visual fields, OCT, and fundus photography
• Assisting with contact lens insertion and removal (I&R)
• Maintaining accurate patient records and supporting the doctor and clinical team

The ideal candidate is professional, personable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy private practice environment.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
