Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Paraoptometric to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the optometric practice in delivering comprehensive eye health services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various medical fields, including podiatry, rheumatology, urology, reproductive endocrinology, labor delivery, medication administration, cardiology, diabetes care, home care, and pediatrics.

Duties

• Assist optometrists in performing eye examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Prepare patients for examinations by taking medical histories and recording vital signs.
• Administer medications as prescribed by the optometrist.
• Educate patients on proper eye care and post-examination instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation complies with regulations.
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment necessary for daily operations.
• Provide support in scheduling appointments and coordinating patient flow within the practice.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
