Optometric Technician

Overview

Advanced Eyecare is looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Clinical Technician to join our team.

This is a hands-on position working directly with patients and our doctors. We’re looking for someone who enjoys helping people, works well as part of a team, and is comfortable learning new technology and clinical skills.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare patients for their eye exams and assist with patient flow
• Perform preliminary testing and diagnostic imaging
• Take patient histories and document information accurately
• Assist our doctors with clinical testing and patient care
• Learn and operate advanced ophthalmic equipment
• Help keep exam rooms and clinical areas organized and ready for patients
• Communicate with patients in a warm, professional manner
• Work closely with the front desk, doctors, and other team members to keep the day running smoothly

Requirements

We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong people skills, and a genuine interest in providing great patient care. Previous eye care experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person on our clinical procedures, technology, and ophthalmic equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
