Optometric Technician

StarVision Optometry PLLC is seeking an experienced optometric or ophthalmic technician for a part-time, in-person role in Pensacola. Work directly with Dr. Star Rostankovski in a doctor-owned practice where accurate testing, thoughtful patient care and dependable follow-through matter.

PAY AND FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE

Hourly compensation reflects relevant experience and demonstrated clinical skills.

Part-time schedule to be agreed together. Please share your recurring availability and desired weekly hours. Workdays, shift times and weekly hours will be confirmed before hire.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Prepare patients for examinations, collect medical and ocular histories, and perform assigned preliminary testing under the doctor's direction.
• Record patient information and testing results accurately in electronic records.
• Keep patient visits organized and communicate testing concerns promptly to the doctor.
• Assist with contact-lens education, trial coordination and follow-up within your training.
• Support check-in/out, insurance verification, appointment confirmations and patient follow-up as assigned.
• Keep equipment and clinical areas ready for patient care.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Prior hands-on clinical experience in optometry or ophthalmology is required. Tell us which tests, patient-care duties and systems you have used independently.

Experience with visual acuity testing, pretesting, OCT or retinal imaging, visual fields and electronic records is valuable. EyeCloud Pro experience is a plus.
