We believe the right attitude, strong work ethic, and exceptional people skills are more important than knowing how to operate eye-care equipment on your first day.

What You'll Do

As an Optometric Technician, you'll work directly with patients and our doctors to help create an outstanding eye-care experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their visits
• Preparing patients for examinations and gathering relevant medical information
• Learning to perform preliminary vision testing and operate advanced diagnostic equipment
• Assisting our optometrists with patient care and clinical workflow
• Accurately documenting information in our electronic health record system
• Keeping examination areas organized, clean, and ready for patients
• Working collaboratively with teammates to keep the office running efficiently

Don't worry if you've never done these things before. We're willing to train the right person!

The best candidate isn't necessarily someone with years of medical experience. We're looking for someone who:

• Is comfortable learning new technology and computer systems

We especially welcome applicants with experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, sales, or other positions where taking care of people is a priority.

Previous optometry or healthcare experience is a plus, but absolutely not required.

While our primary opening is for an Optometric Technician, we're also interested in meeting candidates who have a natural talent for customer service, fashion, and sales.

Our optical team helps patients find eyewear that looks great, fits comfortably, and meets their visual needs. If you have experience in retail sales, styling, jewelry, fashion, or consultative customer service, you may be an excellent fit for this side of our practice.

We can teach you about lenses, frames, and optical technology. What matters most is your ability to listen to people, understand their needs, and confidently recommend solutions.
