Eye Society Houston is a modern boutique optometry practice located in The Heights. We provide comprehensive eye care while delivering a luxury patient experience in a welcoming, stylish environment.

We're looking for a friendly, dependable team member who enjoys working with people, is eager to learn, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in patients
• Answer phones and schedule appointments
• Verify vision and medical insurance benefits
• Perform pre-testing (training available)
• Obtain patient history
• Assist with contact lens training
• Coordinate patient flow throughout the office
• Collect payments and check patients out
• Maintain clean and organized exam rooms
• Support the doctor and optical team
• Perform additional administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Optometry, ophthalmology, or medical office experience
• Customer service experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable with computers and technology

No optometry experience?
We're happy to train the right person with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
