Optometric Technician/ Doctor's Assistant

Millard Family Eyecare is seeking a dependable, motivated, team-oriented Optometric Technician /Doctor's Assistant

Doctor’s Assistant to join our fast-paced office. We are a privately owned practice proudly serving our community for over 30 years.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous optometry or medical office experience preferred
• Willingness to cross-train in front desk and optical departments
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-first mentality
• Ability to multitask, take initiative, and help wherever needed

JOB RESPONSIBILITES

• Assist the Doctors preparing patients for exams.
• Take patient and family histories.
• Pretesting using various machinery.
• Dispense contact lenses. Teach new patients how to insert and remove contact lenses.
