Optometric Technician/Receptionist

Optometry office in Dallas, GA in search of an optometric technician/receptionist to join our team.

We are seeking a self-motivated individual, who is able to multi-task. Positive attitude and a willingness to learn are a must. Low stress environment, with a good work-life balance.

• Part time or Full time position available
• Experience and certifications in the optometric field are helpful but not required. Will train a motivated candidate.
• Bilingual (Spanish) not required, but helpful
• Paperless office so candidate must be efficient with computer usage
• Office hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 9:30am-6:00 pm; Wednesday 9:30am-5pm; Saturday 9:00 am-2:30pm, every other Sunday 12pm-4pm

Chief duties:

• Answer phones/schedule appointments
• Preliminary testing
• Billing, authorizing and filing insurance
• Contact lens ordering, maintaining contact lens trial inventory
• Contact lens insertion and removal training
• Communicate effectively with patients
• Maintain patient records
