Optometric Technician / Receptionist — Part-Time

$22–$24/hour | ~20 hours/week | Bellevue, WA

We’re a growing private optometry practice looking for an energetic, charismatic, and dependable person to join our small team. Prior eye-care or medical-office experience is preferred, but not required. We can teach the technical skills—we’re primarily looking for someone with excellent people skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities include:

• Answering patient inquiries by phone, text, and email
• Scheduling and managing appointments
• Verifying vision and medical insurance benefits
• Checking patients in/out and assisting with front-desk duties
• Performing preliminary testing and patient workups
• Helping keep the clinic organized and running smoothly

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, approximately 20 hours/week to start. Clinic hours are 8:30 AM–6:00 PM. Opportunity to grow into a full-time position as the practice grows. NO WEEKENDS!!

Compensation & benefits: $22–$24/hour depending on experience, paid PTO, and eligibility for daily/monthly performance bonuses prorated based on hours worked. Full-time employees are also eligible for health and dental insurance.

We're a small office, so personality matters. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys talking with people, takes initiative, and wants to grow with the practice.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
