Optometric Technician/Receptionist

• Experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• The part-time position can be flexible with hours and days desired.
• Technician duties include (but are not limited to): pretesting patients, teaching contact lens insertion and removal, and patient preparation
• Reception duties include (but are not limited to): patient check-in/ check-out, answering phones, scanning charts, checking eligibility and benefits, filing insurance, scheduling patients, light cleaning duties
• The ideal candidate should be outgoing, friendly, patient, punctual, able to multitask, work in a fast paced environment, have their own transportation, possess a tidy appearance, able to take direction, and be free of scents and fragrances
• Must possess computer skills
• Preferred (not required) if willing to travel to our other location if needed- Summerville

Our offices are located next to Walmart vision center in West Ashley but the position is for Coastal Vision Care, not Walmart

Must be willing to take a drug test.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
