Optometrist

Requirements:

• Education:
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Optometry (B.Optom or M.Optom).
  • Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., contact lenses, low vision) are a plus.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2-5 years of clinical experience in optometry (experience in advanced diagnostics, refraction, and patient management).
  • Familiarity with handling slit-lamp machines, autorefractors, and tonometers.
• Skills:
  • Expertise in performing eye exams, diagnosing visual conditions, and prescribing corrective lenses.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills for guiding junior staff.
