Vinoth Eye Care Hospital, Trichy is looking for a skilled and experienced Optometrist to join our professional eye care team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, assisting ophthalmologists, and providing quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
• Conduct visual acuity, objective and subjective refraction, and other routine optometric tests.
• Assist ophthalmologists during patient consultations and clinical procedures.
• Perform pre-operative and post-operative investigations as required.
• Handle and operate optometric/ophthalmic equipment effectively.
• Explain test results and provide appropriate guidance to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Ensure smooth patient flow and provide excellent patient care.
• Coordinate with doctors and other hospital departments.
• Follow hospital protocols and maintain professional standards.

Requirements:

• Mandatory 2–3 years of experience as an Optometrist.
• D.Optom / B.Optom qualification preferred.
• Good knowledge of refraction and basic clinical optometry.
• Experience in handling ophthalmic equipment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient-friendly attitude and good clinical skills.
• Basic computer knowledge preferred.
