Sunny View Optometry LLC is an independently owned optometric practice located within the Costco facility in Clackamas. We are building a patient-centered practice focused on accessible, comprehensive eye care, sound clinical judgment, efficient systems, and respectful service. The Costco setting provides a convenient, high-visibility location while allowing the practice to remain professionally independent.

The clinic is owned and operated by the lead optometrist, creating a unified approach to patient care. Our dedicated team of receptionists and optometric technicians are all employees of the practice, who work under the direct guidance of the owner, to deliver a high standard of support and service.

We welcome both experienced optometrists and recent graduates who value collaboration, adaptability, and high-quality patient care.

Position Summary

The Optometrist will provide primary eye care, including comprehensive examinations, contact lens services, and diagnosis and co-management of ocular disease within the scope of Oregon licensure.

We are seeking a full-time or part-time Optometrist to join our team, with flexible scheduling options for working days.

Practice Setting and Technology

· Independent optometric practice located inside the Clackamas Costco facility.

· Modern diagnostic technology, including Optos ultra-widefield retinal imaging and additional equipment available at the practice.

· The doctor will work collaboratively with the owner/optometrist and support team to create a positive, efficient patient experience.

· Support for pre-testing.

· Our thoughtfully paced exams ensure quality time for patients and precision for our doctors.

· Anticipated patient scheduling and daily volume will be discussed during the interview.

Compensation and Benefits

Qualifications

· Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited school or college of optometry.

· Active Oregon optometry license, or eligibility to obtain Oregon licensure before the employment start date, including applicable therapeutic pharmaceutical authority.

· Current professional liability insurability and eligibility.

· Strong clinical judgment, patient communication skills, and commitment to ethical, patient-centered care.

· Ability to work effectively in a growing practice where systems, schedules, and responsibilities may continue to develop.

· New graduates and experienced optometrists are encouraged to apply.
