We’re a family owned and operated optometric practice with roots dating back to 1904, and we’re growing! We’re looking for a part-time optometrist who enjoys full-scope patient care and who wants to work in a fun, supportive environment where patient-first healthcare comes before everything else.

• 4 fully equipped exam lanes

• Optos California widefield imaging & dilation

• AR/AK-1 with corneal topography

• FDT visual field

• Firefly anterior segment cameras w/ Meibomianography on 2 slit lamps

• Humphrey Visual Field

• Optovue Solix SD-OCT with OCT-A

Qualifications:

• Valid license to practice optometry with certification in ophthalmology or related specialties preferred.

• Proven experience in optical practice settings with strong knowledge of optometry principles, ophthalmic diagnosis, and medical treatment procedures.

• Familiarity with OfficeMate EMR/EHR system for efficient documentation and record keeping.

• Skilled in performing ophthalmic examinations such as tonometry, contact lens fitting, and disease diagnosis using ophthalmic diagnostic imaging equipment.

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology of the eye, and common disease states affecting vision health.

• Excellent client communication skills to educate patients on their eye health status and treatment options effectively.

• Ability to operate medical equipment safely while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.

• Strong understanding of healthcare diagnosis processes, medical terminology, and medical coding practices related to optometry services.
