There is a fantastic opportunity for a part-time remote care Associate Optometrist at Focus Vision Optometry with locations throughout the Inland Empire in Southern California. An active California optometry license is required, no exceptions. We are currently seeking vacation coverage, 2 Saturdays per month (9:30a-2:15p PST), and/or a recurring weekday schedule.

Established in 2006, Focus Vision Optometry is the leading private medical optometry group serving the Inland Empire. Over the years, Focus Vision Optometry operates four successful locations in Calimesa, Beaumont, and Moreno Valley. Patients can expect a total eye care experience through annual comprehensive vision exams, advanced medical eye disease management, premium optical solutions including Lasik, and specialty contact lenses. To help support current practice growth and a large patient base, the business is looking to add an Associate Optometrist to the team of 30 professionals.

Focus Vision Optometry is dedicated to improving and preserving sight, utilizing the latest diagnostic technologies to detect ocular conditions and systemic issues. The practice is well-appointed with automated optical equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology, including Optos, Topcon Maestro OCT, and Topcon VF. Patients enjoy an upscale shopping experience as they browse a large inventory of designer frames and lenses from the optical boutique. Remote care optometrists are expected to support our high optical sales capture metrics, using chairside prescribing of premium lens designs and conscientious patient education.

About the Associate Optometrist Opening

Focus Vision Optometry is seeking a well-versed remote Associate Optometrist passionate about delivering exceptional eye care to ensure optimal eye health and vision for all patients. You’ll practice primary care optometry, including routine vision and medical eye care for the entire family. This position is a part-time work-from-home position consisting of 1-2 days per week using the advanced Marco platform to perform remote digital-assist vision exams at various branch offices.

The practice is looking for a caring, clinically proficient, efficient, and conscientious individual ready to deliver top-quality care to our patients in a clean, professional and technology-minded multi-location group private practice.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong desire to learn and grow with the practice. Additionally, you must demonstrate excellent communication, efficiency, accuracy, attention to detail, and compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, responsible, service-oriented, and willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services. Remote care has a quick and enjoyable pace, and we will train the right candidates to comfortably and efficiently utilize our online platforms, even if you are new to the remote-care experience.

Job Types: Part-time contract

Salary:

Part-time employee per diem rates $500-550/full day or hourly $70/hr, depending on clinical experience.
