Scope of Work

As an Optometry Examiner, you will:

• Conduct eye exams and complete disability benefits questionnaires (DBQs) to assist the VA in processing veterans' disability claims.
• Perform evaluations for various eye conditions, including scar exams and visual field tests (VFT).

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education (ACOE) or completion of medical school with residency in ophthalmology.
• Active state license in good standing.
• Experience in diagnosing and managing eye-related health issues.
• Dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality care.
• Experience in performing VFT testing is preferred.

Pay: $130.00 - $195.00 per hour
