Join our modern boutique optometry practice with a seasoned, supportive team! We focus on delivering incredible patient experience through full-scope care including full dry eye services. This position is flexible - we are open to hiring 1 FT doctor or 2 PT doctors with flexible scheduling to split the week.

What You Will Need (Requirements)

• A keen sense and ability to connect with patients and establish trust quickly
• Self-motivated Optometrist who can excel in a leadership role
• The ideal candidate will have expertise in providing DRY EYE services & converting patients for advanced care: TearCare, Blephex, IPL, RF, nulids, punctal plugs - training available
• Ideally comfortable fitting scleral lenses
• Comfortable fitting amniotic membranes - training available
• Myopia management experience: Misight CLs, atropine, Stellest and Ortho-k with a growth mindset
• Commitment to the continued growth of expanding our practice
• A personable, dynamic, and adaptable personality
• Proficiency in eyewear recommendations and prescriptions
• Familiarity with Eyefinity EHR - preferred but not required
• 2 years of private practice experience–preferred
• A Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree
• A Valid CA state license to practice optometry
• Credentialed with VSP, Eyemed and medicare.
• Are currently residing within commuting distance of the practice

What You Will Do (Job Responsibility)

• Perform comprehensive eye exams, expert CL fittings, emergency and medical exams
• Take time to show patients’ prescription changes and prescribe to lifestyle visual needs
• Commitment to identifying good candidates for dry eye evaluations and effectively explaining options and treatment modalities, training available.
• Collaborate with our staff to maximize and delight each patient encounter.
• Work closely with our opticians to ensure seamless handoffs in support of eyewear prescriptions, helping with patient flow where needed
• Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients e.g LASIK, cataracts etc.
• Maintain detailed & accurate patient records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress
• Refer to proper secondary care, write referral letters and follow-up on your patients
• Provide support to the practice during downtime as the opportunity arises
• Understand and abide by HIPAA and latest FTC mandates

Pay: $575.00 - $800.00 per day
