What they need
Ophthalmology practice seeking a part-time Optometrist to join our team. If you are a dedicated Optometrist with a passion for diagnosing and managing eye diseases, this opportunity is for you. Work alongside an experienced Ophthalmologist and a fully trained team.
Optometrist duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct routine eye exams.
- Document services provided, glasses and contact lens prescriptions and recommendations to patients
- Prescribe medications to treat ocular diseases and disorders.
- Perform pre- and post-operation checks.
- Check patients for signs of diseases and refer them to other specialists when needed.
Graduate of accredited school of Optometry, with valid license to practice Optometry in the state of Virginia. Must have excellent communication skills, professional attitude and appearance.
Flexible schedule and rates are negotiable.
Pay: $117,000.00 - $142,000.00 per year
