What they need

Company Description MYEYZ is India’s first dedicated home eye care service, focused on delivering high-quality, professional eye testing directly at patients’ homes. Built on the pillars of trust, affordability, and accessibility, MYEYZ ensures convenient care without the need for travel, waiting rooms, or delays. The company uses advanced equipment and licensed services to provide reliable eye care, supported by experienced optometrists and healthcare staff. With roots in healthcare and retail and a successful history through Lens & Meds, MYEYZ is expanding home healthcare solutions while maintaining a strong commitment to safe, hassle-free patient experiences.

Role Description The Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments for patients in an on-site setting located in Delhi. Responsibilities include conducting refraction tests, diagnosing vision problems, prescribing corrective lenses, and advising on appropriate eyewear and eye care solutions. The role involves maintaining accurate patient records, using diagnostic equipment safely, and following standardized clinical protocols. The Optometrist will collaborate with the broader healthcare team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and may assist in patient education about eye health and preventive measures. This is a full-time role.

  • Formal qualification in Optometry (Bachelor’s or Diploma in Optometry) from a recognized institution and valid registration as required by local regulations.
  • Strong clinical skills in refraction, vision testing, contact lens fitting, and basic diagnosis of common ocular conditions.
  • Ability to use and maintain optometric diagnostic equipment such as autorefractors, slit lamps, and visual acuity charts.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to explain test results, treatment options, and eyewear recommendations in a clear, patient-friendly manner.
  • Attention to detail and accurate documentation skills for maintaining clinical records and prescriptions.
  • Commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory, and patient-centered care, with a focus on safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare staff and adapt to structured workflows in a growing healthcare organization.
  • Prior experience in community, retail, or home-based eye care services is an advantage; proficiency in local languages and basic computer skills are beneficial.
