Optometry Technician / Front Desk / Frame Stylists

Job Summary
We are a patient-centered optometry practice located in southwest Littleton. Our office combines medical eye care with a carefully curated in-house optical so we can oversee quality from the exam room to the finished pair of glasses. "Farm to table Optics" we call it.

We are not a high-volume corporate environment. We take pride in helping patients look great, see clearly, and feel comfortable throughout the entire experience.

Updating vision and personal style can feel overwhelming for many people. We work hard to simplify the process and avoid the high-pressure “used car sales” experience that eyewear shopping has unfortunately become in many offices. Choosing new glasses should feel relaxed, enjoyable, and even fun.

This position will start at $18.00 per hour, but will increase to $21.00 per hour at 45 day evaluation.

Responsibilities

Clinical & Front Desk Support

• Perform preliminary testing such as:
• OCT
• Auto-Refractor
• Topography
• Pulse Oximetry
• Administer eye drops as directed by the doctor
• Assist with contact lens insertion and removal training
• Help maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Support front desk operations including scheduling and patient check-in/check-out
• General office cleaning and organization

Optical & Styling

• Help patients select frames that fit comfortably and look great
• Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear recommendations
• Perform basic frame adjustments and fittings
• Assist with optical orders and follow-through
• Create a relaxed, personalized eyewear experience

Qualifications

• Optical, optometry, ophthalmology, retail styling, or medical office experience is a plus
• Strong fashion sense and ability to guide patients confidently
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable talking with people all day
• Detail-oriented and dependable
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Basic retail math skills
• Ability to work well within a small team

Computer Skills Are REQUIRED

This position involves constant use of electronic medical records and multiple software systems throughout the day.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable:

• Switching between multiple applications quickly (alt-tab, win-tab)
• Typing and entering information accurately
• Using Windows-based software
• Copying/pasting and navigating efficiently (ctrl-c/v, win-c/v)
• Managing several tasks without losing attention to detail

Monay, Wednesday & Thursday: 9:00am to 5:00pm
Tuesdays: 11:00am to 3:00pm
Friday - 9:00am to 4:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
