OR Circulator

The Operating Room Circulator supports surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, organizing surgical supplies and equipment, assisting with room setup, and coordinating non-clinical activities to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient surgical environment. The position works closely with the surgeon, anesthesia provider, surgical team, and clinical staff to maintain operating room readiness and comply with established safety and infection prevention protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organize the operating room before scheduled procedures.
• Ensure surgical supplies, equipment, and instruments are available and ready for use.
• Check room readiness and report equipment issues or supply shortages.
• Assist with operating room turnover, cleaning coordination, and restocking between procedures.
• Maintain inventory of surgical supplies and communicate replenishment needs.
• Assist with the safe movement and organization of equipment within the surgical suite.
• Support the surgical team with non-clinical tasks as directed.
• Follow facility policies for infection prevention, environmental cleanliness, and safety.
• Maintain an organized supply area and ensure proper storage of materials.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to support efficient surgical scheduling and room utilization.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an operating room, surgical center, or healthcare environment preferred.
• Knowledge of operating room supplies, equipment, and infection prevention practices is an advantage.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow established protocols and work in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
