What they need
O.R. Nurse for Daycase surgeries.
Responsibilities:
- Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
- Takes and monitors patients’ vital signs
- Ensures that operating on correct patient and the correct procedure is being performed
- Prepares operating room for patient/procedure
- Observes and enforces strict standards of asepsis
- Selects and handles instruments and supplies used for the operation, passing them to surgeon
- Inventories all items both pre- and post-surgery
- Delivers direct surgical care by assisting the surgeon
- Closely observing patients for signs of side effects of anesthesia medication
- Updating patient files and medical records.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ﷼4,400.00 - ﷼5,000.00 per month
Experience:
- O.R. Nursing: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- SCFHS Nursing License (Required)
Work Location: In person
