Oracle APEX Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise business applications. The successful candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Oracle APEX, SQL, PL/SQL, JavaScript, Oracle Database, and REST API integrations.

The role involves developing application modules, integrating Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) with other systems, improving application performance, and supporting business applications throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications using Oracle APEX.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views.
• Create responsive user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
• Work with Oracle APEX Interactive Reports, Interactive Grids, Forms, Dynamic Actions, validations, and Shared Components.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs using ORDS, AJAX, and JSON.
• Integrate Oracle APEX applications with Oracle EBS and external business systems.
• Troubleshoot application issues and improve database and application performance.
• Implement application security, authentication, authorization, and access controls.
• Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, code reviews, testing, and deployment.
• Follow coding standards and develop reusable, maintainable application components.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide production support.
• Work with project teams in an Agile development environment to deliver application modules on time.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on Oracle APEX development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database.
• Good experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle APEX components, including Interactive Grids, Reports, Forms, and Dynamic Actions.
• Experience with ORDS, REST APIs, AJAX, and JSON.
• Experience integrating Oracle APEX applications with Oracle EBS, preferably EBS R12.
• Understanding of database design, application security, and performance tuning.
• Experience working in Agile or sprint-based development environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle EBS R12 APIs and business processes.
• Knowledge of Git and source-code management.
• Exposure to React, Next.js, or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with data migration, legacy-system integration, and enterprise business applications.
• Experience in HR, recruitment, CRM, billing, operations, or similar business applications.
• Exposure to intelligent automation platforms.

Pay: QAR5,800.00 - QAR20,000.00 per month
