CTC: Up to 20 LPA
Location: Pan India / Across Cognizant Locations

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Apps DBA to manage, maintain, and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Oracle Database Administration, Oracle Applications architecture, performance tuning, patching, cloning, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.1/R12.2) environments.
• Perform installation, configuration, cloning, upgrades, and migration activities.
• Manage Oracle databases (11g, 12c, 19c) in production and non-production environments.
• Apply Oracle EBS and database patches using ADOP/AutoPatch.
• Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform performance tuning.
• Handle backup and recovery activities using RMAN.
• Manage high availability solutions and disaster recovery environments.
• Support concurrent managers, workflow mailers, and application services.
• Perform database refreshes, cloning, and environment management.
• Work closely with application teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational standards.

Required Skills

• 5 to 9 years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA.
• Strong experience in Oracle EBS R12.1/R12.2 administration.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c.
• Expertise in EBS cloning, patching, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Good knowledge of RMAN backup and recovery.
• Experience in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience working in production support environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM.
• Knowledge of OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
• Exposure to automation/scripting using Shell Scripts.
• ITIL process knowledge.

Notice Period

• Immediate to 60 Days Preferred.
