Oracle BBA With (AWS migration)

• Collaborate with application development teams on data modeling, schema design, and deployment of complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and views.
• Analyze execution plans, perform SQL query tuning, and optimize index structures to eliminate bottlenecks in high-throughput transactional environments.
• Lead database release automation, code reviews, and schema migrations across development, staging, and production environments.
• Monitor database application health, identify lock contention, resolve deadlocks, and troubleshoot latency issues.
• Partner with infrastructure and cloud teams to design, test, and execute on-premises to AWS cloud database migrations.
• Participate in database capacity planning, failover drills, and disaster recovery design.
• Support production deployment and other maintenance activities over weekend and after office hours on weekdays as needed.

Mandatory Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration
• Oracle Application DBA Expertise: 8+ years specializing in Oracle Database (12c/19c+) application support, advanced PL/SQL programming, execution plan analysis, and performance diagnostics (AWR, ASH, ADDM).
• AWS & Cloud Databases: Practical experience administering managed database services including Amazon RDS (Oracle/PostgreSQL) and Amazon Aurora.
• PostgreSQL: Hands-on working knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, schema design, and performance optimization.
• Cloud Migration Experience: Strong, proven track record of migrating on-premises databases to AWS environments (using tools such as AWS DMS, SCT, or native utilities).
• Collaboration & Release Management: Solid background in CI/CD integration for database deployments and working alongside Agile engineering teams.
