Oracle CC&B MDM Developer

Role: Oracle CC&B MDM Developer **Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have (Ideally should not be more than 3-5)**

• Strong hands-on development experience in Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing and/or Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management, covering Customer/Billing and Meter Data Management processes.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF), including BOs, MOs, Algorithms, Service Scripts, UI Maps, Zones, and Portals
• Hands-on experience across the development lifecycle, including technical design, configuration/customization, unit testing, defect resolution and deployment support for Oracle Utilities implementations/upgrades.

Good-to-Have

• Exposure to REST/SOAP web services, APIs and batch/interface frameworks for Oracle Utilities integrations
• Understanding of CC&B/MDM upgrades, cloud modernization and large-scale CIS transformation programs
• Prior experience in the Australian electricity and gas utility market, including awareness of market processes and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting, production support and complex defect resolution in CC&B/MDM environments.
• Knowledge of SQL/PLSQL, Java and Oracle database technologies supporting Oracle Utilities applications.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working with functional, integration, testing and business teams.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

• Develop and configure Oracle Utilities CC&B and MDM components based on approved functional and technical designs.
• Perform OUAF development using Business Objects, Maintenance Objects, Algorithms, Service Scripts, UI Maps, Zones, Portals and related framework components.
• Develop and support CC&B/MDM integrations with AMI/Head-End Systems and other upstream/downstream enterprise applications.
• Implement MDM functionality covering Device Management, VEE, Meter Reads, Measurements, Aggregations, Usage Management and Usage Transactions.
• Prepare technical designs, unit-test scripts and development documentation, ensuring adherence to coding and development standards.
• Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, defect resolution and performance optimization, supporting SIT, UAT and production deployment activities.
• Work closely with functional, solution architecture, integration and testing teams to deliver end-to-end Meter-to-Cash and smart-metering requirements.
