We’re South Australia’s lead agency for economic, digital and financial policy outcomes. Our work touches every corner of the state, from enabling frontline services to driving digital transformation. And we do it all with one purpose: to make life better for the people who call South Australia home.

The Government’s primary financial management system Masterpiece, used by most SA Government agencies excluding SA Health, is over 30 years old and nearing the end of its service life. The Finance Reform Program is leading a major initiative to replace it with Oracle Fusion and implement best practice processes. This transformation will significantly change how finance functions are performed across agencies and affect a wide range of stakeholders, including finance, ICT, and operations teams.

By providing strategic technology leadership, you will enable modern, sustainable and integrated digital solutions that support finance services across South Australia and contribute to better government outcomes.

What you will do:

Lead enterprise architecture strategies for the Finance Reform Program.

Develop enterprise architecture policies, standards and principles.

Shape the program’s technology blueprint and architecture vision.

Translate business strategies and complex requirements into practical technology initiatives.

Develop capability roadmaps, impact assessments and architectural positions for complex initiatives.

Influence critical architecture decisions and assure, cloud, integration and enterprise solutions align with standards and long-term sustainability.

Remuneration

ASO8 ($130,046 - $134,956 p.a) + 12% Superannuation

What you bring

Extensive experience delivering enterprise architecture outcomes in complex, large-scale cloud environments.

Strong enterprise architecture expertise, connecting business strategy, processes and technology.

Strong judgement in evaluating complex solutions and providing authoritative architectural assurance.

Proven experience developing architecture frameworks, standards and roadmaps.

The ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate technical direction clearly.

Experience leading architecture initiatives and developing others, with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or Oracle Integration Cloud experience highly desirable.
