Oracle CX Solution Architect

• Remote: travel required to company HQ in Midwest
• Salary: $150,000 - 170,000 base + 15% bonus

We are looking for an experienced Oracle CX professional to take ownership of a mature Oracle Cloud CX environment and help shape how the platform evolves across the business.

This is a senior, hands-on functional position working closely with commercial and operational teams. You will act as the bridge between business users and technology, understanding how teams operate today, identifying opportunities for improvement, and translating those requirements into scalable Oracle solutions.

The environment includes Oracle Sales, Service, CPQ and Sales Performance Management, so we are looking for someone with broad CX knowledge who can operate across both solution architecture and detailed configuration.

Rather than simply supporting an existing system, this person will have significant ownership over the ongoing roadmap, enhancements, releases and adoption of the CX platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the functional direction and ongoing development of the Oracle Cloud CX landscape.
• Partner closely with Sales, Operations and other business stakeholders to understand processes, challenges and future requirements.
• Translate business needs into practical Oracle solutions using configuration, workflows, integrations and platform capabilities.
• Recommend solutions that make the best use of standard Oracle functionality and minimize unnecessary customization.
• Manage and prioritize a pipeline of enhancements based on business value, urgency and available delivery capacity.
• Provide functional oversight for significant changes across Oracle Sales, Service and CPQ.
• Configure and review areas including pricing logic, product rules, approvals, custom objects, workflows and integration mappings.
• Use Application Composer to create and maintain fields, layouts, objects and other extensions across Oracle Sales and Service.
• Own the functional impact assessment of Oracle’s quarterly cloud releases, coordinating testing and preparing the business for relevant changes.
• Contribute to application strategy, technology planning and longer-term CX roadmap discussions.
• Act as a senior Oracle CX resource for both technical teams and business users.

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience working with Oracle Cloud CX, ideally 7+ years across implementation, enhancement and/or application ownership.
• Strong hands-on functional configuration experience across Oracle Sales and Service.
• Experience with Oracle CPQ, including areas such as product configuration, pricing and commercial rules.
• Exposure to Sales Performance Management / Incentive Compensation is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of customer-facing processes such as lead and opportunity management, quoting, case management, service operations and field activities.
• Experience designing solutions that integrate Oracle CX with other enterprise applications.
• Comfortable working with Oracle extensibility tools, particularly Application Composer.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Comfortable operating independently and taking ownership of a business-critical application area.
• Oracle Cloud CX certifications are advantageous but not essential.
• Candidates who do not meet every requirement but have strong Oracle CX experience are still encouraged to apply.
