Oracle DBA

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor and support Oracle database environments to ensure high availability, reliability, security, and optimal performance.
• Provide database consulting and support including design, implement, maintenance, automation and cloud consultancy for databases.
• Perform certification for new database technologies including new database versions and patches.
• Ensure data integrity and security.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to meet data needs.
• Document database processes and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or IT-related fields
• Fluent in English: TOEIC 750+, TOEFL iBT 98+, or IELTS 6.5+
• Strong experience in Oracle Database Administration, including installation, configuration, monitoring, backup and recovery, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Oracle technologies such as:
• Oracle Database 19c and above
• Oracle Exadata
• Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
• Oracle Unified Directory (OUD)
• Oracle Data Guard
• Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience with database automation and scripting using SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, Shell Scripting, PowerShell, Terraform or other automation tools
• Experience in other database management systems (e.g. SQL, MySQL, MariaDB) will be considered an advantage.
• Experience in cloud database technologies (e.g. Amazon Relational Database Service) will be considered an advantage.
• Experience with database automation and scripting using SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, Shell Scripting, PowerShell, Terraform or other automation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

The ideal start date for this position would be 30 days from the offer and will run for 12 months.
