Oracle Database Administrator

We are looking for:

We are looking for an Oracle DBA with strong hands-on experience in Oracle database administration, mainly working with Oracle 12.1 and 19, and with a solid understanding of the technologies and environments supporting enterprise database services.

What you will do:

• Administer and provide production support for Oracle databases across the European scope, ensuring stability, resilience, performance, and high availability.
• Perform monitoring, capacity management, backup and recovery, performance analysis, incident and service request resolution, and Change Management.
• Contribute to new database/server architecture and builds, as well as provide ad-hoc technical support and consulting to application teams.
• Collaborate closely with technical peers to identify and implement solutions that improve service stability and performance.
• Provide clear communication to management and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.

What you must have:

• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle database administration, mainly Oracle 12.1 and 19, with knowledge of Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c, Oracle Enterprise Manager, RMAN, ASM, RAC, Data Guard, and database tuning.
• Good Linux/UNIX administration and scripting skills, including Python, Shell, and Bash, together with automation experience using Ansible or similar technologies.
• Experience with Oracle Exadata and High Availability environments; Delphix experience is also required. Knowledge of Multitenant environments and GoldenGate is a plus.
• Strong teamwork, analytical, communication, and customer-oriented skills, with the ability to work within strict timelines and follow established processes.
• Very good English communication skills, both written and spoken; French is a plus. ITIL Foundation knowledge is desirable.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model, including on-site presence and on-call support.
