Oracle Database Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain database systems using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle, Microsoft SQL and PostgreSQL Databases, Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Configure Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to facilitate seamless integration between Oracle and other enterprise systems.
• Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when required.
• Ensure data integrity and security by implementing and managing appropriate security measures.
• Perform regular database patching and vulnerability remediations, backups and recovery operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database schemas, queries, and indexes.
• Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and policies.
• Provide support for database-related issues and assist in the development of database-related projects.
• Ensure seamless integration of Oracle with other enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and third-party software solutions.
• Manage and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle related applications.
• Address issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Database Administrator with expertise in OCI, Oracle Database, MS SQL and PostgreSQL Database, Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Knowledge of Oracle applications and modules.
• Strong knowledge of database design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management tools.
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
• Familiarity with database security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledgeable in data workflows and pipelines.
• Experience with cloud-based database solutions (Oracle/GCP/Azure) and migrations.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
