Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle DBA) to manage, maintain, secure, and optimize Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, troubleshooting, and high availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases.
• Monitor database performance and optimize SQL queries.
• Perform database backup and recovery using RMAN.
• Manage database users, roles, permissions, and security.
• Troubleshoot database issues and resolve production incidents.
• Implement database high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Work with Oracle RAC and Data Guard environments.
• Monitor database capacity, storage, and resource utilization.
• Perform database patching, upgrades, and routine maintenance.
• Support database migrations, deployments, and environment refreshes.
• Maintain database documentation and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and development teams.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Oracle Database administration.
• Good knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with RMAN backup and recovery.
• Knowledge of Oracle RAC and Data Guard.
• Expertise in database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of database security, user management, and access controls.
• Experience with database installation, patching, and upgrades.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle 19c or newer Oracle database versions.
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Experience with database migration and automation tools.
• Knowledge of OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager).
• Relevant Oracle certifications are an advantage.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant professional experience may be considered.
