Oracle Database and Integration Engineer

Navira Federal, LLC is a small business federal contractor. We are recruiting an Oracle Database and Integration Engineer.

A small, senior, fully remote team supporting a federal agency. Two things happen at once: we keep a large existing financial and contract management application running reliably, and we design and build its replacement on a modern stack. Everyone on the team holds a lane and helps in a second one.

What you will do

Administer an Oracle 19c database and own the data integrations that move financial information between systems: bulk loads, stored procedure work, reporting feeds, and the migration of setup and configuration data into the replacement platform.

The arc of this role

This position is heaviest early and reduces after that as other work takes over. We would rather say that plainly now than surprise you later.

Required qualifications

We cannot waive these. Five years of relevant experience, and a degree in information systems, business systems, management information systems, IT management or another IT field. Engineering, math and science degrees are accepted instead. Four further years of relevant experience combined with a relevant professional certification (for example PMP, ITIL Expert, CISSP or a comparable architect or professional level certification) is accepted in place of the degree.

What we are looking for

Oracle 19c administration including backup, recovery and data movement tooling.

Strong PL/SQL.

Bulk loading at volume.

Federal financial or procurement data feeds are a significant advantage.

Work location and schedule

Fully remote, anywhere in the continental United States. Occasional travel to the Washington DC area within two business days of a request. This is a full-time position. Equipment is provided.

Pay and benefits

Pay range: $100,000 to $130,000 per year, contingent on contract award. The salary offered within this range will depend on factors such as experience, skills and qualifications for the role.

Conditions of employment

This position is contingent on contract award. We are bidding this work now. Award is expected in early 2027 and work is expected to begin around September 2027. We will be straightforward with you at every step about where the bid stands.

Every position requires a federal Public Trust suitability determination at the moderate level, which currently takes one to two months. Non-U.S. citizens may be considered, subject to the government's advance approval.
