Oracle Database and Systems Engineer

Our is seeking a Senior Oracle Database & Systems Engineer. This role will play a key part in maintaining and modernizing critical database systems while supporting the migration of on-premises environments to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

The successful candidate will combine strong Oracle DBA expertise with systems engineering, cloud migration, infrastructure, security, and database architecture experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Oracle database environments, including backup and recovery, patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Support migration of Oracle databases and related services from on-premises environments to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Design and maintain database architectures, data models, SQL and PL/SQL code, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Manage database security, access controls, auditing, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor system and database performance and recommend improvements for scalability and reliability.
• Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure recovery planning.
• Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, GIS teams, and technical staff to deliver effective solutions.
• Participate in modernization initiatives, automation efforts, and cloud transformation projects.
