We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Manual Tester to support enterprise banking projects in a hybrid role based in Toronto, ON .

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Oracle database testing, backend testing, and data validation .
• Create and execute manual test cases, test scenarios, and regression tests .
• Validate tables, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and data integrity .
• Write and execute SQL queries to verify data accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Perform data reconciliation between source and target systems.
• Analyze test results and identify data-related issues.
• Log, track, and troubleshoot defects in collaboration with development and QA teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Support end-to-end testing and ensure database changes meet business and technical requirements.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database and SQL .
• Solid experience in Manual Database Testing / Backend Testing .
• Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and integrity testing .
• Strong understanding of test case creation, execution, and regression testing .
• Banking or financial services experience is highly preferred.
