Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to support and manage enterprise database environments across On-Premises and AWS platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Oracle 19c/23AI, database administration, performance troubleshooting, backup and recovery, high availability, automation, and production support.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a production environment and collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide production support for Oracle database environments, ensuring high availability, stability, and performance.
• Perform database monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and administration activities.
• Design and build new database structures based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform database backup and recovery activities using RMAN.
• Manage and support Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate environments.
• Perform database upgrades, patching, migrations, and switchovers.
• Support database load balancing and performance optimization activities.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible and Shell scripting.
• Perform database administration activities across Linux and Sun OS environments.
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts as required.
• Troubleshoot complex database issues and provide timely resolution in a production environment.
• Participate in database migration and modernization initiatives across On-Premises and AWS environments.
• Communicate business and technical information, requirements, and instructions effectively with a wide range of stakeholders through face-to-face meetings, teleconferences, phone, and email.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database 19c / 23AI.

• Experience supporting Oracle databases in On-Premises and AWS environments.

• Strong experience in Linux / Sun OS.

• Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters)

• Oracle Data Guard

• Oracle GoldenGate

• Experience with large-scale enterprise Oracle database environments.
• Strong understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery concepts.
• Experience with Oracle database migration and modernization to AWS.
• Strong automation mindset with hands-on experience in Ansible.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a production environment and handle critical database issues.
