Oracle DBA with Exadata

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator with Exadata expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle database administration, Linux/Unix environments, and scripting, with a focus on database performance, availability, and reliability.

Contract type: B2B Work model: Hybrid Key Responsibilities Administer, maintain, and support Oracle databases in production and non-production environments.

Manage and maintain Oracle Exadata infrastructure.

Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance-tuning solutions.

Perform database installations, configurations, upgrades, patching, and migrations.

Ensure database security, availability, backup, and recovery.

Troubleshoot database and infrastructure issues and provide timely resolutions.

Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell , Python , and Linux scripting .

Work with Linux and Unix operating systems to support database operations.

Monitor database capacity, storage utilization, and system performance.

Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and operations teams to ensure system stability and optimal performance.

Maintain technical documentation and follow operational best practices.

Requirements Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator .

Hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata .

Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, administration, and performance tuning.

Experience with Linux and Unix operating systems.

Proficiency in Shell scripting and Linux scripting.

Knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.

Experience with database backup, recovery, patching, and troubleshooting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team.
