We at Coforge are looking for Oracle Developer in Leeds, UK

Experienced Oracle Developer with strong expertise in Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and Oracle APEX to design, develop, and support robust business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have experience working on large-scale technology transformation programs and be capable of delivering end-to-end solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle-based applications using SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle APEX .
• Produce detailed technical specifications, solution designs, and development documentation.
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Testers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues while ensuring optimal system performance.
• Contribute to database performance tuning and optimization activities.
• Support the delivery of technology transformation initiatives and enhancements across core business applications.
• Communicate technical concepts and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an Oracle Developer , with hands-on experience in Oracle Database 11g and ideally exposure to Oracle 19c .
• Strong development skills in PL/SQL and Oracle APEX .
• Solid experience in database design, development, and maintenance.
• Ability to analyse and solve complex technical problems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence, guide, and challenge constructively across cross-functional teams.
• Experience working within large-scale technology or digital transformation programs.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in database performance tuning and optimization .
• Knowledge of JavaScript .
• Experience within the Mortgage and Savings domain.
• Exposure to financial services or banking environments.
