Oracle Developer

Dekalb Trade Voice seeks a skilled Oracle Developer to design, develop, and maintain customized Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications tailored for textile, leather, and garment manufacturing operations. This role focuses on leveraging Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, and ORDS technologies to enhance business efficiency and operational control. The developer works closely with management, functional users, and external consultants to support successful ERP implementation and continual improvement while ensuring data accuracy and security. The Oracle Developer is responsible for full lifecycle development within ERP modules including Customer Relationship Management, Supply Chain, Production Management, Human Resources, Accounting, and various specialized manufacturing systems. This role demands strong technical expertise in Oracle APEX application development, database optimization, REST and SOAP API integration, and troubleshooting. The candidate must understand how technology can optimize business workflows and facilitate management decision-making, although the position does not involve managing a team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain efficient and user-friendly ERP applications using Oracle APEX.
• Create forms, interactive grids, reports, dashboards, and approval workflows that meet business requirements.
• Develop reusable application components and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Maintain and enhance PL/SQL code including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views to support application functionality.
• Work with Oracle Database 19c or newer versions, optimizing database designs, indexing, and query performance.
• Write efficient SQL queries and support database administration activities such as backup, restoration, and security patching in coordination with administrators.
• Assist in database version upgrades, performance tuning, and ensure application compatibility with database changes.
• Implement enhancements based on detailed Business Requirement Documents and Functional Requirement Specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, application errors, and performance bottlenecks promptly.
• Support the development, integration, and maintenance of multiple core ERP modules including CRM, SCM, Production Management, HRM, Payroll, Accounts Management, and industry-specific systems like Leather and Sewing Machines Management.
• Ensure the integrity of database relationships, transaction processing, and security across ERP modules and facilitate smooth inter-module integration.
• Develop integrations with external systems such as WhatsApp and AI engines through REST and SOAP APIs.
• Document development activities, maintain version-controlled deployment scripts, and produce technical documentation to support maintenance and audits.

4. Educational Qualifications

Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Preferred certifications:

• Oracle APEX development training or certification.
• Oracle Database SQL/PLSQL training or certification.
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or database-related certifications.

Equivalent demonstrable professional experience may be considered.

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
