Oracle EBS Consultant

Responsibilities

• Lead the functional management of Oracle EBS Finance modules including AP, AR, GL, FA, CM, and Treasury
• Gather and analyze business requirements conducting fitgap analysis to translate needs into functional specifications
• Design and document custom functional solutions when standard Oracle functionality does not meet business needs
• Collaborate with technical teams to communicate business requirements and validate delivered solutions
• Provide expertise in Oracle EBS Finance configurations, customizations, and integrations to enhance financial processes and reporting
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and audit readiness within Oracle EBS environments
• Create and maintain process documentation, training materials, and knowledge base content for users and support teams

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Oracle EBS Finance module lifecycle including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment
• Act as the primary liaison between finance teams, IT, and implementation partners to ensure seamless Oracle EBS Finance operations
• Conduct impact analysis and risk assessments for changes in Oracle EBS Finance systems
• Provide ongoing application support including issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvements
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues using SQL queries and collaborate with developers for debugging using PLSQL when needed
• Work with third-party systems to support and troubleshoot integration points such as bank integrations and treasury tools
• Participate in audits and compliance reviews related to Oracle EBS Finance
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices within the Oracle EBS Finance domain
• Monitor system performance and support UAT to ensure high-quality deliverables
