Oracle EBS Financials Developer

PeerSource is currently recruiting for an Oracle EBS Financials Developer on a Direct Hire basis. This role is based out of Orlando, FL.

Summary

We are seeking an Oracle Apps Developer to develop, enhance, and support Oracle Financials applications and related enterprise systems. This role focuses on delivering technical solutions, troubleshooting application issues, and implementing new functionality within Oracle R12 Financial Applications. The ideal candidate brings strong Oracle development expertise and experience collaborating with business users to improve financial systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for Oracle Financials applications, including Fixed Assets, Payables, General Ledger, Receivables, and Purchasing modules.
• Design, develop, test, and implement applications and enhancements using PL/SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting, Java Frameworks, and Oracle RDBMS.
• Partner with business users to gather requirements, analyze needs, and develop technical solutions that support financial operations.
• Develop and implement new functionality, applications, and modules within Oracle R12 Financial Applications.
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and maintain or modify existing programs to improve performance and reliability.
• Support software implementations, integrations, installations, and user training for new or enhanced applications.
• Serve as a technical escalation resource, providing guidance and support to end users and internal teams.e
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, for coding, documentation, and code reviews while ensuring quality through human oversight.
• Maintain technical documentation for applications, systems, and development procedures.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of Oracle R12 Financials development experience, including Payables, General Ledger, Receivables, and Purchasing.
• 2+ years of development experience with Java, Oracle Application Framework, and Personalizations.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Financials APIs, Oracle Forms and Reports, and UNIX Shell Scripting.
• Experience developing views and reports using Oracle Discoverer and XML Publisher, along with integrations involving Oracle EBS and/or legacy systems.
• Functional understanding of Procure to Pay processes and best practices, with experience leveraging AI tools to improve development efficiency and quality.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, collaborate with functional users, and manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
