Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Functional Support Consultant with 10+ years of experience to provide part-time technical and functional job support for Oracle E-Business Suite Financials, Grants Accounting, Project Accounting, and Procurement modules.

The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12.2.9, production support, financial business processes, module configurations, troubleshooting, and enterprise system integrations.

The role involves assisting with functional issues, analyzing business requirements, supporting enhancements, resolving production incidents, and providing expert guidance on Oracle EBS operations.

This is a part-time job support opportunity requiring 2–3 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional job support for Oracle E-Business Suite applications and associated business processes.
• Support Oracle EBS Financials, Grants Accounting, Project Accounting (PA), and Procurement modules.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide guidance on production incidents, application maintenance, and operational support.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional designs and specifications.
• Perform gap analysis and recommend appropriate Oracle EBS solutions or workarounds.
• Support module configurations, setups, testing, and validation.
• Assist with enhancements, system upgrades, implementation activities, and process improvements.
• Support unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot integrations, interfaces, data flows, and reconciliation issues between Oracle EBS and other enterprise systems.
• Provide guidance on month-end and year-end financial close activities.
• Prepare and review functional documentation, including design specifications, reports, interfaces, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with business users, functional teams, technical teams, and vendors to resolve issues.
• Support production operations and maintenance in large enterprise Oracle EBS environments.

Required Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite functional consulting experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle EBS Version 12.2.9.
• Strong functional expertise in the following modules:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Fixed Assets (FA)
• Cash Management
• Grants Accounting
• Project Accounting (PA)
• Procurement
• Extensive experience in Oracle EBS Financials production support and maintenance.
• Experience with functional design documents and specifications for enhancements, reports, interfaces, and integrations.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and financial reconciliations.
• Experience troubleshooting Oracle EBS application issues and integration failures.
• Knowledge of Oracle EBS interfaces, data conversions, and enterprise integrations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to provide hands-on functional guidance and resolve complex issues within the agreed support hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting public sector, transportation, or government organizations.
• Experience working with large-scale Oracle EBS implementations.
• Experience with Oracle EBS upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with financial close operations, audit requirements, and enterprise financial controls.

Job Support Requirements

• Support Duration: 2–3 hours per day.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday.
• Candidates must have 10+ years of overall Oracle EBS functional experience and at least 5 years supporting EBS 12.2.9.
• Candidates should be capable of providing functional troubleshooting, configuration guidance, production support, and enhancement assistance.
• Strong practical knowledge of Oracle EBS Financials, Grants Accounting, Project Accounting, and Procurement is mandatory.
• Candidates must be available for consistent part-time support during mutually agreed hours.
