Oracle EBS R12.2 Technical Consultant - Contract

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS R12.2 Technical Consultant to support technical development, integrations and ongoing delivery within an Oracle E-Business Suite environment. The role will involve working closely with functional and technical teams to deliver reliable solutions, resolve complex technical issues and support enhancements across the EBS R12.2 platform.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical development and support across Oracle EBS R12.2.
• Analyse business and functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical components, including interfaces, extensions, reports and customisations.
• Design, develop and troubleshoot SQL and PL/SQL solutions.
• Support integrations between Oracle EBS and external systems.
• Work with functional consultants to understand requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Produce technical designs, specifications and development documentation.
• Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), deployments and production releases.
• Investigate and resolve technical defects and production issues.
• Perform technical impact assessments for changes and enhancements.
• Support data extraction, transformation and loading activities where required.
• Ensure developments follow Oracle EBS R12.2 technical standards and best practices.
• Support patching, upgrades and ongoing platform improvements where required.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 .
• Proven experience in Oracle EBS technical development and support.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
• Experience with Oracle EBS interfaces, APIs, extensions and customisations.
• Good understanding of Oracle EBS architecture and underlying Oracle database structures.
• Experience working across the full technical delivery lifecycle, from requirements and design through testing and deployment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting SIT/UAT and production environments.
• Ability to produce clear technical specifications and documentation.
• Good understanding of Oracle EBS development standards and best practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with functional consultants, developers and business stakeholders.

Desirable:

• Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports.
• Oracle Workflow experience.
• Oracle XML Publisher / BI Publisher.
• Oracle EBS public APIs and open interfaces.
• Experience with Oracle Integration technologies and web services.
• Experience across Oracle EBS Financials, SCM or Procurement modules.
• Experience with R12.2 online patching (ADOP), patching and technical upgrades.
