Oracle ERP/EPM/SCM Functional Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle ERP/EPM/SCM Functional Lead to support Oracle-related functional initiatives, lead business discussions, and facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams. The successful candidate will be based in Kuala Lumpur and must be willing to travel to China as required for project workshops and business engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead functional discussions and requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
• Support the implementation, enhancement, and configuration of Oracle ERP, EPM, and/or SCM solutions.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Facilitate functional workshops and discussions with stakeholders in China.
• Coordinate with technical teams, project managers, and business users to ensure alignment on project deliverables.
• Support functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution, and deployment activities.
• Identify process gaps and recommend appropriate functional solutions.
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and configuration documents.
• Provide functional guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements

• 6–8 years of relevant experience in Oracle ERP, EPM, SCM, or related functional consulting roles.
• Strong understanding of Oracle functional processes, system configuration, and business requirements.
• Experience leading functional workshops, stakeholder discussions, and requirements gathering.
• Proficiency in Chinese is mandatory to communicate effectively with stakeholders in China.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel to China as required for project workshops and other business engagements.
• Available to commit to a 6-month contract.
