Oracle ESB/OSB Application Manager

Location: Netherlands

Hours: 36 hours per week

Language: Dutch and English required

Contract: Payroll/secondment only (no ZZP'er)

A Dutch government ICT organisation is looking for an experienced Oracle ESB/OSB Application Manager to maintain and improve critical integrations between judicial and government information systems. The environment processes approximately 15,000 messages daily, making reliability, security and performance essential.

You will combine application management and incident handling with technical integration work, Oracle patching, automation and architectural advice.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the Oracle Service Bus (OSB) environment and resolve incidents.
• Maintain, test and improve message flows and OSB services.
• Execute and automate Oracle security patches and software updates.
• Work with certificates, Java keystores and web-service security.
• Support lifecycle management (LCM), testing and deployment activities.
• Advise on integration architecture and contribute to new OSB environments and technical designs.
• Collaborate with internal teams, ministries and external integration partners.
• Support high availability and fallback environments.

Must-have

• At least 4 years of demonstrable experience with Oracle Service Bus (OSB) .
• At least 4 years of demonstrable experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware .
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Analytical skills and the ability to work independently in a complex environment.

Nice-to-have

• Extensive knowledge of OSB integrations and message flows.
• Experience with Oracle software updates, patching and automation.
• Knowledge of security, Java keystores, certificates and web services.
• Experience with Linux, Python and scripting.
• Experience with SOAP UI and SOAP/REST testing.
• Knowledge of Axway B2Bi and CI/CD.
• Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, WSO2 or Axway.
