Job Title: Oracle Exadata Database Administrator

Location: Houston, TX

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to manage and support enterprise Oracle database environments

The ideal candidate will be responsible for database administration performance tuning backup and recovery high availability solutions and ensuring database security and reliability

Key Responsibilities

Install configure upgrade and maintain Oracle Database environments

Administer Oracle 11g 12c 19c and 21c databases

Monitor database performance availability and capacity utilization

Perform backup and recovery operations using RMAN

Manage and support Oracle RAC and Data Guard environments

Conduct database performance tuning and SQL optimization

Implement database patches upgrades and migrations

Troubleshoot database issues and perform Root Cause Analysis RCA

Manage database security user roles profiles and access controls

Support High Availability HA and Disaster Recovery DR configurations

Work with application teams to optimize database performance

Maintain database documentation SOPs and operational procedures

Participate in oncall support and critical incident management

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.

Compensation range: $83,952.00 to $114,263.00 per year
