Oracle Functional / Technical Engineer

ERPrecruit is recruiting an Oracle Functional / Technical Engineer for a trusted client in the South of the Netherlands.

The position focuses on the support, maintenance and enhancement of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and related technologies. Working closely with functional consultants, developers, business users and Oracle support teams, you will investigate technical issues, implement solutions and contribute to reliable system performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Investigate, diagnose and resolve Oracle application and technology incidents within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
• Analyse system logs, error messages and performance data to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Assess the impact of incidents and proposed changes, escalating complex issues where required.
• Support Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, maintain configurations and monitor application health, integrations and batch processes.
• Contribute to deployments, patches, upgrades and testing cycles.
• Support the development and maintenance of integrations, reports and technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud, REST APIs, SOAP web services and FBDI, and resolve issues with BI Publisher reports.
• Validate data interfaces and integration performance.
• Collaborate with business users and consultants to understand requirements and support technical design and implementation.
• Maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides and root cause analyses.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and audit and compliance requirements.

Hard skills:

Oracle applications:

• Oracle Fusion Applications, including Oracle ERP Cloud and Oracle SCM Cloud.
• Oracle Warehouse Management.

Integration and data management:

• Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• REST APIs and SOAP web services.
• XML, JSON and web services security.
• File-Based Data Import (FBDI) and ADF Desktop Integration (ADFDI).
• SQL and PL/SQL.

Reporting and analytics:

• Oracle BI Publisher.
• Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI).
• Oracle Analytics Cloud.

Development and cloud technologies:

• Groovy scripting and Oracle Visual Builder.
• Oracle PaaS services and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Agile methodologies:

Knowledge of Oracle AI Agents and experience with SQL*Loader are desirable.

Education and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• At least three years of experience supporting Oracle applications, typically three to five years or more.
• Practical experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Experience developing integrations, reports and technical solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience in both operational support and project delivery.
• Professional proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
